New Term and New students!

The month of December through mid January the staff at Peter’s Heart has been having Center Days with the children on holiday to help them bond with staff and each other, and then busily getting the newest children ready for their first time in school. We have put them in a boarding school for their safety and their health so they can optimize this chance to get an education. Aidah, one of our loving staff, has been in charge of the supplies and preparation for the children. She sent us a “short” list of what they purchased for the personal and school requirements for each child.

School requirements include: reams of paper, books, pencils, pens, colors, rulers, scrubbing brushes, squeezers, rags, brooms.

Personal requirements include: sugar, soap, mattresses, textbooks, bedsheets, urine traps, suitcases, towels, buckets, toothpaste and brush, shoe polish, shoes and Bibles.

These lists would be impossible for these children to obtain without your generosity, not to mention how your gifts provide the tuition they need, and from their picture the excitement for school and their gratitude is evident.
