We have had the privilege of partnering with Scripture Union Uganda, an international Christian charity and mission movement, headquartered in Great Britain. With their partnership, we have experienced, as their tagline states, “God’s Big Story Transforming Young Lives.” Their leadership and support have been vital to the work of Peter’s Heart Inc. in Uganda.
We also partner with two Christian Boarding schools that we believe offer the best opportunities for the children’s education and spiritual growth. Our partner schools with at least one of our children enrolled include:
Through generous donations, Peter’s Heart has been able to support the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped (KSPH). James and Ward first visited KSPH in 2015 with friends at Scripture Union. The following year, the team had the pleasure of throwing 160 children their first ever birthday party—many had never had balloons, cake, and decorations. Additionally, that same year a donor began supporting Physical and Occupational Therapy for the children who needed it. In 2019, we were informed that the donations coming from Peter’s Heart Inc. had been enough to pay for this therapy for the whole year!
