April 2025 visit to Kampala

A team of 17 children and adults from the US and UK had the opportunity to visit and interact with the Peter’s Heart kids and staff this April. Two different groups of Peter’s Heart Children came to the PH office for Bible stories of David and Goliath and Daniel in the Lions Den, crafts, games, and parachute activities. One morning the visitors went to the slums and met some of the families of PH children and in the afternoon they went to the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped ( https://ksph.org ) to present “Daniel and the Lion’s Den” and have artist, Rosie, paint a beautiful picture of Jesus. Thursday the US/UK team took all 70 of the younger Peter’s Heart children to a facility that had a swimming pool, soccer field, play ground and bouncy house! First time that many had been swimming and we are grateful for the Westport, CT families that donated gently used swimsuits to make this possible.
