Christmas comes early for Peter's Heart family

Geoffrey Seruwu wrote to let us know they created this fun day for the PH children who are on break from school until January. The newest PH children had never had such an opportunity, their smiles are priceless!

Geoffrey writes:

On December 6, 2022 we celebrated PHU children’s Christmas.  Children were transported to Entebbe to celebrate in a different environment. Breakfast was served at UWEC (Uganda Wildlife Education Center-Entebbe).

The story of why Jesus came was told blended by skits acted by all PHU staff. This was fun and educational to children.

Later a briefing by the zoo guide who took us round visiting different wild creatures. It was really fun for children to sing the Elephant song in front of the elephant exhibit. Every child wanted their voice to be recognized by the elephant. After the tour it was time for lunch.

Next was play time, children enjoyed  different games and swimming.  The day was crowned by cutting a birthday cake for children born between August and December celebrating their birthdays. The new children had never had their birthdays celebrated or acknowledged and we use this opportunity to highlight their uniqueness and value to us and to the Lord.

Thank you to all our donors who make such an experience possible. We are grateful for your gifts and support.
