February School Term Starts

Geoffrey and the Peter’s Heart Team have been busy preparing all the children for the new term that started this past week. Here are some thoughts from Geoffrey’s email:

“Atmosphere was filled with joy this week when a dream came true. Our 15 newly enrolled children by PHU joined school. Not only parents and children were filled with joy but also PHU staff and local leaders of areas where these children come from. A total of 17 children joined the boarding section; these include 10 children of 25 enrolled in September 2022 and 7 children of 15 enrolled in January 2023.

The process began on Saturday 4th when all school requirements and personal items were purchased and apportioned to every individual child. Items included Mosquito nets, buckets, text and exercise books, storage boxes Towels, Plates, cups, toothpaste etc. Parents/guardians contributed towards their children’s support.

Children went to different  schools which include St. Stephen Primary school Kisugu, Muteesa II Memorial primary school, Christ Care Junior School, The Amazima School, Seroma Christian High School, Light Mixed  and Center for Lifelong Learning.

We are now preparing for another 6 students who qualified from primary level of education to secondary level  before the end of February.

Thank you so much for your love and sacrifice.
